Which kind of bank transfer does the casino use?
“Bank transfer” can mean a domestic transfer, an Interac payment or an international wire. Find out which route appears in your cashier before comparing the cost or timing. A withdrawal sent to a Canadian bank account is not necessarily an Interac e-Transfer.
The casino list above is a starting point for reviewing operators. Check the current cashier for your province and account, including whether bank transfers are available for deposits, withdrawals or both.
Details to confirm before sending money
- The beneficiary name, bank details, payment reference and currency supplied by the casino's official cashier.
- The casino's minimum and maximum transfer amounts, alongside your bank's own limits.
- Any sending fee, receiving fee or currency conversion, including whether charges reduce the amount credited.
- The payment reference or receipt you will need if the deposit is not matched to your account.
Do not reuse an old set of bank instructions without checking it. If the payment is missing, ask the casino to trace the reference before making another transfer.
Receiving a withdrawal into your bank account
Complete any requested account checks and use an account in your own name. Ask for the casino's approval period and the payment provider's delivery period separately. Weekends, incorrect account details and intermediary banks can affect the route.
A casino payment marked “approved” may still be waiting to be sent. Request a transfer reference once it has been released. Our withdrawal guide explains how to distinguish these stages.
Bank transfer, Interac or wire?
Use the Interac guide if the cashier specifically names Interac e-Transfer. Use the wire transfer guide for SWIFT or international bank instructions. RBC's wire transfer information provides a bank-side explanation of that separate service.
