Inside Big Bass Splash

How the game works
Big Bass Splash uses a five-reel, three-row board with ten paylines. Line combinations pay from left to right. Fishing equipment, fish and a monster truck sit alongside card symbols. It is a conventional payline slot, rather than a game with tumbling symbols.
The main distinction is the free-spins round, where fisherman wilds collect the values attached to fish. This review covers the June 2022 game, not Bigger Bass Splash or Big Bass Splash 1000.
Free spins and collection multipliers
Three, four or five scatters start 10, 15 or 20 free spins respectively. During the feature, each fisherman collects the fish values visible on that spin. Collecting four fishermen awards ten extra spins and moves the collection multiplier through 2x, 3x and finally 10x across the retriggers.
Before the round, up to five random modifiers may be applied. These can add fish or fishermen, improve the chance of the dynamite, hook and bazooka features, start the round at level two, or add two spins to the starting round and retriggers. They are random benefits, not choices that let you control the outcome.
RTP: what the 96.71% figure means
Pragmatic Play's game overview lists a default RTP of 96.71%. That corresponds to a theoretical house edge of 3.29%. It describes the game's long-run mathematics; it does not mean a C$100 deposit will return C$96.71.
Check the information panel in the version you actually open. Public casino descriptions can differ: Stake's page shows 96.70% in its header and 96.71% in its description. We use the provider's default as our reference, not as a verified setting at each casino.
Stake describes the game as highly volatile. Expect uneven results, and do not interpret a losing run as evidence that a bonus is due. Game RTP is also separate from the casino-wide Avg. RTP displayed on our casino reviews.
Maximum win and bonus-buy cost
The provider gives a maximum payout of 5,000x the bet. It is a payout ceiling, not an expected outcome. The optional free-spins purchase costs 100x the selected bet, where available.
For example, buying the feature at a C$0.20 stake would cost C$20; at C$1 it would cost C$100. These are cost illustrations, not confirmed CAD betting limits. A purchased round can return less than its price. Read the confirmation amount before accepting it.
Our take
The fixed paylines make the base game relatively straightforward to follow. The collector feature is the main reason to choose this title: progress depends on landing both fishermen and fish, with retriggers changing the value of later collections.
If you prefer wins distributed more evenly through a session, the emphasis on the bonus round may not suit you. Set a session budget before starting and choose a stake that leaves room for losing spins. Increasing the stake does not make the feature arrive sooner.
Try the official demo
Open Big Bass Splash on Pragmatic Play to access the provider's game page and look for its demo. Availability depends on location and the provider's requirements. Demo credits have no cash value and results do not predict real-money play.
Common questions
Is this the same as Big Bass Splash 1000?
No. The full game title matters. This page covers Big Bass Splash, released in 2022, with the 5,000x payout limit.
What is the minimum stake?
Stake's public description lists 0.10 to 50.00 in game currency units. Confirm the currency and available range inside your casino's version; this is not a promise of the same CAD limits everywhere.
Are the free spins a casino promotion?
The free spins described here are an in-game feature. A casino welcome offer has separate eligible games, stake values, expiry dates and wagering conditions.
Can I improve my chances by timing a spin?
No timing pattern guarantees a win. If play stops being enjoyable or affordable, take a break. Our responsible gambling page lists support options.
