Canada's primary payment network for online banking. At online casinos, Interac lets you deposit and withdraw directly from your Canadian bank account in CAD, usually via Interac e-Transfer.

What Interac is

Interac is a Canadian payment network jointly owned by the country's major financial institutions. It is used for debit card transactions and, more commonly at online casinos, for Interac e-Transfer. Most Canadians with a bank account have access to it by default.

At online casinos, Interac e-Transfer lets you move money directly between your bank account and your casino account without using a credit card, e-wallet, or third-party service. Deposits are funded from your bank balance. Withdrawals are sent back the same way, typically arriving within one to three business days.

Why it matters for Canadian players

Interac keeps everything in Canadian dollars, which avoids currency conversion fees and means what you see in your casino account is what you actually have. It is accepted at the vast majority of offshore casinos targeting the Canadian market and is the most reliable way to move money to and from a casino account as a Canadian player.

Interac deposits versus withdrawals

Some casinos support Interac for deposits but not for withdrawals, routing withdrawal requests through a different method instead. Before you deposit via Interac, confirm that the casino also processes withdrawals through it. If it does not, check what the withdrawal options are and whether they carry fees or delays you are not expecting.
